Running WCG on a Microsoft Surface...?...!

Today, I traded one of my servers for a Microsoft Surface. I'm contemplating whether or not to sell it and buy parts for a new, bigger, and "badder" rig for crunching.

I'm about to try BOINC on the Surface anyways, because, well, I kind of like it! What can I say? Toys -- I love them!!!!!

Has anyone else tried to run WCG/BOINC on a Microsoft Surface?

Re: Running WCG on a Microsoft Surface...?...!

Well: an update...

I just tried to install it on the Surface, and I received an error message that this app won't work with my computer. Oh well. If anyone has any thoughts on running BOINC on the Surface, air them here!

Re: Running WCG on a Microsoft Surface...?...!

From Wikipedia:
The Surface debuted in two models, marketed as Surface RT and Surface Pro. Surface RT uses an ARM (ARMv7) CPU running Windows RT whereas Surface Pro utilizes an Intel Ivy Bridge CPU running Windows 8.
BOINC can run ARM code on Android OS but I have not heard of a port to ARM code on Windows RT OS. Certainly WCG does not have any projects compiled for this new OS.
