Hi,
PC Shutdown? You may want to look into cleaning the machine internals as one reason is too high temperature due high accumulation of dust. Else, when your computer shuts down again, find the stdoutdae.txt file in the C:\ProgramData\BOINC folder and post the last 50 lines. That maybe prints a reason why the BOINC emergency. |

Dunno my CPU temp is 47-50°C idle
i found this part in the text suspicious: 02-Dec-2013 03:24:18 [World Community Grid] Task E217213_422_I.48.C44H24N2O2.00213928.2.set1d06_2 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file 02-Dec-2013 03:24:18 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:18 [World Community Grid] Task FAHV_x3AVLbINy3A_0335917_0410_0 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file 02-Dec-2013 03:24:18 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:19 [World Community Grid] Task E217213_422_I.48.C44H24N2O2.00213928.2.set1d06_2 exited with a DLL initialization error. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:19 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reboot your computer. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:19 [World Community Grid] Task FAHV_x3AVLbINy3A_0335917_0410_0 exited with a DLL initialization error. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:19 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reboot your computer. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:19 [World Community Grid] Restarting task E217213_422_I.48.C44H24N2O2.00213928.2.set1d06_2 using cep2 version 640 02-Dec-2013 03:24:19 [World Community Grid] Restarting task FAHV_x3AVLbINy3A_0335917_0410_0 using fahv version 706 02-Dec-2013 03:24:21 [World Community Grid] Task E217213_422_I.48.C44H24N2O2.00213928.2.set1d06_2 exited with a DLL initialization error. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:21 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reboot your computer. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:21 [World Community Grid] Task FAHV_x3AVLbINy3A_0335917_0410_0 exited with a DLL initialization error. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:21 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reboot your computer. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:23 [World Community Grid] Task E217213_422_I.48.C44H24N2O2.00213928.2.set1d06_2 exited with a DLL initialization error. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:23 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reboot your computer. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:23 [World Community Grid] Task FAHV_x3AVLbINy3A_0335917_0410_0 exited with a DLL initialization error. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:23 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reboot your computer. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:25 [World Community Grid] Task E217213_422_I.48.C44H24N2O2.00213928.2.set1d06_2 exited with a DLL initialization error. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:25 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reboot your computer. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:25 [World Community Grid] Task FAHV_x3AVLbINy3A_0335917_0410_0 exited with a DLL initialization error. 02-Dec-2013 03:24:25 [World Community Grid] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reboot your computer. Your errors, example:
02-Dec-2013 03:24:25 [World Community Grid] Task E217213_422_I.48.C44H24N2O2.00213928.2.set1d06_2 exited with a DLL initialization error. Could hint at security software blocking file creation or access. Run a BOINC installer repair and verify scanning exemptions. |

Don't know then. Detach from WCG and add WCG back. That will pull a complete new set of fixed and variable files for the projects you've selected. Also as I noted, find the original BOINC installer u used and run it, then select the 'repair' option.
Also post the top 40 lines in the BOINC message/event log screen, right after a restart and post those so we can read the system configuration and application versions. Q: The "makes PC to shutdown" is confusing me. Is it the computer or is it BOINC crashing? |

[Sorry, I've got trouble following you] Certain steps per my post are requested to be done, to make sure the BOINC installation is stable. Also, I'd propose you run a disk verification check. And of course, the BOINC startup log we'd like to see, those 40 lines.
Maybe you'd like to post in your native language and someone helping you out from your country. [Feel there's things getting lost in translation... my fault, not yours]. |

When you say crash do you mean the PC reboots, crashes to a blue screen or just shuts off?
----------------------------------------I totally agree with heat being first suspect. A flaky, as in weak or dying power supply would be next. Good luck. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by PoppaGeek at Dec 5, 2013 3:21:45 PM] |
