I keep getting messages saying that none of my results have been registered since last July. I have used the self help routine which shows that all my settings are correct, and the computer does seem to be running OK when level of usage permits. My tasks however are shown as suspended, and I don't see how to activate them (if I click on the "suspended" column it just changes to "suspended by user" instead).
Any suggestions? Mike G |

Post the first 60 or so lines of your message log and we might see what is going wrong

Mike G Per the above, we need the message log from start a If work is suspended, nothing new will be fetched, so start by selecting all tasks and making sure that none list with a "Resume" button on left. If there are, hit that button. Properly it then releases the task and changes to show "Suspend" on that same button [Text alternates based on task state] Now, if your client is set to not compute when user is at computer and also set to go to sleep when no user input is registered [effectively, the sum of settings turning to zero computing]... visit the Activity menu and select "Run Always". See what happens. |

Another problem could be that you are suspending if the CPU usage other than boinc goes higher than 25%. Looking at your log it could be that you never actually reach a checkpoint on any task. You should remove that restriction.
BTW are results getting sent to Cosmology@home? |

Another problem seems to be that you are requesting GPU tasks from WCG (there aren't any) but you do not seem to be requesting any CPU tasks from WCG, suggest you check your preferences.

You are not running under your username, the fifth line shows you are running under an account called 'user'. that is where all your results are going! That's just the account name on the PC, not the BOINC (WCG) name. Two things stand out: 1) Message 07/12/2013 11:53:08 Suspending computation - CPU usage is too high This implies other tasks running, if not transient may stop computation at least part of the time. 2) Also crunching for Cosmology@Home (also message 07/12/2013 08:56:27 Cosmology@Home Task wu_111513_082033_2_0_0 is 6.35 days overdue; you may not get credit for it. Consider aborting it.) This implies BOINC is giving this priority due to deadlines. If you want to get WCG tasks you may need to set no new tasks elsewhere (at least until you get some WCG tasks). That's just the account name on the PC, not the BOINC (WCG) name. Not true, on three of my machines here it says -"Running under account Scribe" none of those machines are called scribe ![]() Not the PC name, the account name (boinc_master for service install). Paul.
