Thread: Did the Servers Burp on the 2am EST update? |

Was there a problem with the stats update at 2 am EST?
I checked and no results were updated for me at the 2 am EST update. |

I appear to have had a problem as well. The agent was stuck at the "agent paused" error. I clicked the window and it downloaded a new WU (apparently completely) but it then showed the "agent paused" window again.
I then had to delete the WU files from the WCG directory and download the full program again. This time it worked without any issues and it appears that I got score credit as well. |

I can't tell you the total impact of it, but I noticed that I couldn't get into the forums about 09:00 GMT and notified the techs by e-mail. I later got a note back from knreed that some maintenance had been applied to the host system and they left some configuration errors that the WCG techs had to clean up. All was well before 12:00 GMT.

At around then when we have our usual outage to backup our data bases, we kept the servers down for a little longer to apply some software upgrades and add some hardware cards.
I'll check with our stats tech people to see if there was any problem with the stats update. |

My personal stats look about right...they updated ok at lunchtime it appears

Yup, all looks good from where I'm sitting,
...managed the usual 'Good morning' messages from team members on our old DC project site - so everything is as was |

The statistics are fully up to date and accurate. I checked the logs and I didn't see any errors there.

Please use the 'contact us' email if you think that something is missing in your stats. We did experience an outage in the forums and the member website that lasted about 6 hours. Part of this was due to some routine software upgrades and part to setting being misconfigured that had to be corrected. The forums and website became unavailable at around 5:30 UTC and was restored at around 11:30 UTC. We apologize for any inconvience that this has caused our members.
