BOINC is designed to eliminate uploads when timing out, which is in about 14 days minus T [IIRC]. If that's a worry, then worry ;) And please keep your hands off the upload retry buttons... it's a server general problem. Your client will autonomously automatically retry in incrementing intervals. Oh,'snot a worry.....and I will not touch retry. ![]() crunching, crunching, crunching. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-core Processor with Windows 11 64 Pro. BOINC is designed to eliminate uploads when timing out, which is in about 14 days minus T [IIRC]. If that's a worry, then worry ;) 14 Days for pre 6.10.0 clients, 90 days for 6.10.0+ clients. https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=4019#26882 (Check the 14 Aug 2009 notes and 6.10.0 was released on 18 Aug 2009) I know the 90 days is correct due to still having uploads for Cels@Home and UCT Malaria that I reset every 60 days. |

'giving up' as it was phrased. Vaguely remembering now that Ingleside may have mentioned this too... low importánce, and on checking seemed to have saved my day on a QMC-CleanMobilityNow result. They went offline for several weeks :D

We are seeing very large numbers of uploads completing successfully. Can you post the message in your log that shows that the problem continues for you?
----------------------------------------Also - at this point we have passed the 'surge' that comes once we restore operations. You can use 'retry' now to initiate your uploads. [Edit 1 times, last edit by knreed at Nov 13, 2013 4:59:19 PM] |

Hello Viktors and Kevin, Do we have to cancel and discard the WU's which have not started yet, or it is useful for you if we finish them? Thanks and good luck ![]() You should finish the work units you have, but it will not be helpful to hold them until a later contest date. Thanks. |
