----------------------------------------The other signature is gone because the last activity for this user id was in January 2015. Old signatures are eventually removed. If there is renewed activity than the signature will return. |

Before you invite more people I thought a good
fall cleaning would be in order  - after all your 'newest' post dates back 17 months. I remembered to scrub your sidewalks, too  Headstarters deltavee and USAFA 82@BC please be seated and have a coffee  in two days I'll join you, and I hope we'll eventually be enough Base Campers to heat this cool living room - I had to open the windows  Well, now that this is done I'll 'Hop on to say hi' as your team thread title encourages us to do  Hi, SNURK and friends! Not one to take anyone's feelings into consideration, neither being bothered by shyness, I would like to ask a question that has puzzled me for so many years: How did you get your name? Not one to stop asking after just one question: What does it mean? And is SNURK a unisex name? |

 I hope you all know this one and will sing along in that peculiar language that is SNURK's and adriverhoef's and that of many more crunchers I haven't met yet. Dear SNURK, Base Camp wants to thank you for your wonderful and hard work creating your signs. So many of us proudly run around with them. As I wrote recently in your ”I made a new forum signature” thread many new crunchers visit you and spend their very first forum post asking you for a SNURK sign in so many touching ways. And – ’vupti’ as we say where I come from – you have knitted one for them whereafter they spend their post #2 thanking you in just as many touching ways. Thank you for all your work making this place a happier one. When we had our Base Camp castle we used to have badges and we also had this Rosie - the Base Camp equivalent of The Most Noble Order of the Garter - my car is named after her with name tag and all - which was pinned upon the Base Campers who performed special feats. Sometimes just saying a kind word to me could get you one. But all the Base Campers always deserved Rosies. And they had to put up with these solemn speeches when the great day arose. And you, SNURK, most certainly deserve one. It’s an honor to pin this Rosie on your chest, SNURK ooh, I'm so sorry, SNURK - those bloody motoric skills of mine - did it hurt a lot? Congratulations, SNURK. You are the first cruncher ever to have received a Rosie without being a Base Camper. ----------------------------------------I’m so sorry that the response has been this poor. I have overestimated the power of the tailwind I felt. You ought to be celebrated by many, many crunchers carrying your sign. Perhaps I’m losing track and Fingerspitzengefühl. I don’t really understand what goes on any more, and there isn’t a whole lot of communication or feedback. I think I used to be fairly good at reading people’s minds and interpret actions. Not so much any more. And what’s the idea of trying to talk people into something they don’t want? I really wanted this trek to pan out, SNURK. I also think I saw it as a touchstone. Now we are just USAFA 82 and me but then again, having a B52 flying low is not all that bad, and eventually my WUs will start to show up after my pit stop. May I repeat a couple of my questions, please? How did you get your name? What does it mean? And this, I would really like to know: How many SNURK signs have you made since your began doing this?
