A few of my latest workunits, like those from batch 129444, are breaking the four hour mark.

The WUs my machine is receiving are still generally under 3 hours in estimated time to completion, which is good for a casual cruncher like me.

Same here, shows 2h:40m minutes before starting then take 3h:50m ish in actual time. My points average is going downhill because of this.

Yeap, I see that Vina WUs are showing 6 hrs run time and will probably take 4.5 - 5 hrs to actually run. These WUs seem to be growing bigger with time... maybe we should stop feeding them.

These WUs seem to be growing bigger with time... maybe we should stop feeding them. Unwise suggestion: now the feeder has stopped running. ![]() Joking aside, I have received a series yesterday morning which seems to run faster than the previous days. The bad thing is that I am just running them now... that I would need the stack to not be exhausted too fast... Murphy is still alive! |

Unwise suggestion: now the feeder has stopped running. What a uncanny coincidence... here I go trying to make a joke and the "feeders" stop working at the same time... that will show me to try to poke some fun at WCG. ![]() CJSL Gotta keep crunching... there's a world to save !!! |

The fahv workunits have different targets which chang the size of the search box. We are working towards better calculating these workunits which will decrease or increase the number of jobs in a single work unit to have consistent runtimes. Again we are working on this and it may be some time before we get a better formula.
cjslman, never poke fun at the feeder, I'm blaming you for the failure then. Just kidding of course, just bad timing. Thanks, -Uplinger |
