Countdown to 200 years

I invite everyone to join this thread and brag about the amount of time they've contributed to WCG.

I expect to be hitting this milestone in about a month or so. It's hard to say though since I've only checked the actual change in total hours for the past few days and it's varied wildly.

Regardless, I think I'm probably proudest of this statistic. It wasn't that hard to move up in the stats point wise with 4 7950's, 2 7870's and couple other nice gpu's when the HCC project was running and I'm definitely looking forward to firing those puppies up again soon. But I'm proudest of the 94 cores I currently I have crunching (that includes hyperthreads).

I do have a dual socket EVGA SR-X hex core rig on the sidelines that I'm thinking about firing up to help move things along toward this goal of 200 years but I'll probably wait a week or two until the weather gets a bit cooler.

Re: Countdown to 200 years

That IS a lot of years.

My personal target is 100 having missed a bunch of time on GPU but not long now.

I should be running 80+ cores(threads) soon too.

It is an easier statistic to watch and yes, it does give great satisfaction to achieve Years.

Re: Countdown to 200 years

With my current shrubbers (12 cores) I could expect such milestone in 16 years

Congratulations, twilyth!

That's a most impressive contribution.

Over the next while I will place a number of Oracle Virtual machines into production joining one already running. Even then I will never be able to catch you. My total credits/points with all projects now exceeds 57M as I contribute to Folding at Home, POEM and others.

Good work!

Re: Countdown to 200 years

On 8Jul14 I will have been here 6 years, if I am still here. I might then have 110 years, 100M points and 240K results. Maybe another Emerald badge, unless the new project drought continues. The result count will be dependant on the projects crunched
