Teams?

What is the purpose of the "teams", and what might be the advantages or disadvantages (if any) of joining/starting one?

Re: Teams?

Hi Fuzion,
teams are, I understand, just a motivation vehicle. Its supposed to be more fun crunching together and competing with other teams. It may help to promote new members. Some teams have their own dedicated web pages and their members live their team lives. If you dont want to start your own team or join some existing one, you can crunch alone as well. No advantage, no disadvantage.
Happy Crunching, Ivang.

Re: Teams?

smile Hi Fuzion

smile When you join a team you feel you are playing a more significant part in the community here

smile It’s nice to have a goal to motivate you to continue crunching and a team to support your effort

smile Team competition and camaraderie is what makes being here fun

You can start your own team, or join an established team or stay on your own

You still get points and personal satisfaction helping humanity in all events

Regards
