Now getting "Shut for maintenance" when I try to get new tasks and report.

I was getting that but my machines have just grabbed some WUs.
One grabbed a CEP because there was no work available on my selected projects, even if my other machines all got WU for my selected projects just fine. |

Yup, now ok.

Could be the backups causing intermittent problems. If I remember correctly Wednesday is one of the backup days - and we have been going through a lot of small WU recently.
