Re: Good morning team.

I went back to MCM after getting my Sapphire badge for OET, and I'd estimate I'm probably about 12-15 days (real, not CPU-time) away from hitting 40 years for MCM.

Re: Good morning team.

Evening all.

Good Morning all. Lovely sunny day starting up here in Santa Cruz. It makes a welcome change from the grey drizzly UK. After two weeks the garden's as high as an elephants thigh (there's a song there somewhere!) and the lawn tractor has been taken over by frogs. On with the headphones, fuel up the tractor and wheeee away we go....

Good to read you and the luggage made it back safe from Blighty.

When you say the tractor has been taken over by frogs and then follow that with fuelling it up then "Wheeeee", I trust you removed the frogs before starting up? Or else that sounds like that is going to be very messy with frog parts flying all over the place!

Your comment brings to mind some of the (sicker) animations that were available in the early days of the PC. I seem to remember a frog in a blender and a hamster in a microwave both of which could be 'topped' in stages by pressing certain keys. No frog was harmed during my horticultural activities. As soon as I lift the tarpaulin cover they leg it to all corners of the garden (sometimes chased by cats!).

Re: Good morning team.

Unfortunately, I can't help on that one scol5913 as I'm back on MCM. Maybe it's just the weird and wacky world of WCG point calculations!

RTS, hope the cats didn't catch the frogs, wouldn't imagine that the frogs would be good eating or licking for the cats.

And after joining the team towards the end of last month, Daniel Kearns has returned their first WU, as always post any questions here and we'll do our best to help.
Welcome to the team and happing crunching!

OET is very variable and sometimes sends out some really short WUs (10 minutes or possibly less). In proportion the points per hour CPU time are disproportionally high. Just be grateful but if you want normal then run alongside FAH2 and that will bring you back to earth with a bump.
