Hope the bees have given you a good supply this year, Apis. I spun 80lbs from my two over-wintered colonies today. Now it's in the warming cabinet ready for filtering. That's the best crop I've had yet, and I'm crossing my fingers for an Autumn crop as well. But despite having two splits I've still only got two good queens at the moment. I'm not the only one having queen failures this year, though. (Don't mention the bees -- I can talk for hours about them!) On a First Aid course a couple of years ago, we went off on many tangents (as you do!). One of the group stated that if all the Bees were to suddenly die, then life on earth would come to en end in 7 years. Have you heard that one before? He was adamant that it was a less known fact! ![]() |

Morning team and new members.
----------------------------------------I have heard that bee story as well, don't remember where or when. Personally, I don't like flying insects, anything that can move faster and quicker than I in 3D space, I tend to avoid. Never harm bees, but wasps I will destroy if possible, horrible nasty creatures. When I lived in Papua New Guinea, There were Hornets so big they looked like small birds. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Darkmatter.NI at Jun 18, 2015 9:50:54 AM] |

Third for results globally! Now even I'm impressed! must be a fluke though... Likewise 132 globally for results. It's all these small OETs - Doesn't do a lot for the points tally though, particularly with over 200 results in PV prison.

Talking of results, I see the number of results being returned for FAAH is falling very fast, and looking a last weeks project stats I wonder which projects the 10% run time for FAAH will go to.
Also team UK does not seem to follow the masses in terms of project mix. |
