Good morning team!

Congrats to TMC!

I'm up early (for me) to go and rob my bees of their honey today. The oil-seed rape (OSR) has finished flowering round here and I need to take the honey off before it crystallises in the comb. Looks like a bumper crop this year and I still hope to get an Autumn crop as well.

Hope the bees have given you a good supply this year, Apis.

I spun 80lbs from my two over-wintered colonies today. Now it's in the warming cabinet ready for filtering. That's the best crop I've had yet, and I'm crossing my fingers for an Autumn crop as well. But despite having two splits I've still only got two good queens at the moment. I'm not the only one having queen failures this year, though.

(Don't mention the bees -- I can talk for hours about them!)
