Did you have a big part? Not really, I was just an extra, along with many others. However, you do actually get to see me on screen for a while...I appeared in a commercial once, my one and only claim to fame.

Peterborough Beer Fest! Every year during the last week of August Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, UK hosts the CAMRA Real Ale Beer Fest. Is any one interested in having a social event? This is the week leading up to the Bank Holiday and could include a trip to the Beer Fest and other events, to finish off with a Hog Roast! Not far from me is the Nene Park, lake and water sports complex, Caravan club site and several hotels of various budgets... If there are enough interest I'll put something together... I would initially restrict this to UK team members, but possibly throw it open later... Comments? I don't drink any more, but I'd certainly be up for a meet! Shift patterns permitting of course. :) It'd be great to put some faces to names!

My wife definitely wears the trousers :)
----------------------------------------As I am disabled and cannot work, our finances just won't stretch that far. It's a shame as I have worked all my life. I do as much work "on the side" as often as I am physically able but it is not enough to have a weekend away. My only indulgence is a season ticket to watch the Belfast Giants :)  |

I never need an excuse to drink beer!
---------------------------------------- However if the reason is for a get together of UK crunchers then any excuse will do, so if something else appeals e.g. cheese rolling on Cooper's Hill, welly wanging at Upperthong village or just a visit to the Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem in Nottingham make the suggestion! |
