Update on PC outage, latest news

Just to bring you up to date. All new equipment should be delivered by Thursday. I hope to have completed building new PC by Saturday (subject to youngest's hangover 's ). Will start with just two cores as part of a soak test, if OK will go for 4 cores two days later, checking core temps, then for seven days before committing all 8 cores. Fingers crossed/ smile

Got my new HD's in, Have 10.9TB real storage and 1.8TB in a mirror.
Very happy, Also cleaned the dust out of the computer and replaced the fans, temperatures dropped by 20C!

Yes just give all our 3 PC's a spring clean agood buy instead of Air Dusters is a 240v air inflatable pump > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-MAINS-ELECTRIC-...3&hash=item3f09a47ef6 £9.

They do a great job bought one 8 years ago must of saved a small fortune instead of buying tins of air.
