As for OET IMHO WCG got the launch wrong. Juan Hindo (last forum post Sep 15) should make a post saying so and mapping out the way forward. Keith uplinger makes valiant efforts to keep us updated on progress but for much of the time WCG seems like a one man show! gchenna who was a direct replacement for knreed back in April has made a grand total of 6 posts in the forum. the last in June. It is a shame that the launch hasn't been as smooth as it could especially with the subjet of this new project quite emotive at the moment. Hopefully things will improve. Just had a Beta OET resend fail on me after 28hrs, no checkpoint and 60% done, the deadline was less than 1.5days so not much hope of completing a big WU. And welcome aboard Gabrielseyi. |

Q&A with the WCG team
----------------------------------------Sadly not yet a reality but perhaps we can give them a nudge! See if you want to add your two pen'orth to my post Q&A session with the World Community Grid team Note: Being British I have no German but I used Google translate to post a link in Roadranner's team thread (SETI.Germany) May he'll go with some of the suggestions being made in the thread. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by jonnieb-uk at Dec 7, 2014 5:06:50 PM] |
