@Crooks - Impressive indeed...

But how many cores do they have? I would guess not many or they don't crunch 24/7. I base this comment on your SNURK Sig average days of 24.2 days. I think I counted 21 devices????


The fleet comprises of a combination of Core2Duo, i3 and i5 CPUs. Nothing special these days, with the two fastest machines being i5 3570Ks, only one of which runs 24/7. The majority of the remainder are laptops running at 50% CPU or when idle only (work PCs). sad

I must try harder! biggrin

I would love to know what your mega fleet looks like! biggrin
So would a lot of curious crunchers, but I'm not letting on. However, it's a sad fact I have more idle cores than most crunchers run! crying Mainly as I lost one of my hosting locations and have not found a new home for them.

Hense why I'm selling some off and upgrading to better machines with more umph! and less power consumption.

Some of my fleet have been well documented, here are a couple you can find details of on the forum:

Death Star Which is currently being upgraded to a fully water cooled beast Here
Megacruncher (there are two of these)

Many of my machines have been the subject of various threads on here so a search may turn up more... All my machines are now physical machines I own, I did play with hosted/rented devices for a while (which was discussed on here) but cost wise it was better to run hardware than hosted...

A search for 'New Toy' is likely to return my Dell server too...
