Re: In Other News

Doesn't sound good, any known reasons why (or guess-timates?).

No idea. There's no chatter about any system problems and there's nothing obvious from my own results. So I guess it's just the usual mid-week blues - Thursday is traditionally our poorest performing day of the week.

We'll get a firmer indication from the LunchCrunch stats.

As expected the LunchCrunch stats show a drop of 20 RT days against both August and last 7days averages.

The problem isn't with the top 20 performers (which covers everyone who frequents this thread), and collectively are within 1 RT day of their lunch average. It's everyone else!

Nice going Barnsley Tatts cool

More bad news I'm afraid sad , my PC is back and so is the new Mobo, PSU & Thermal Paste.... Bad news is I have travelled to just about everywhere to find some Isopropyl or other rubbing Alcohol to clean the CPU & heatsink before reseating and I can't find any anywhere???

No chemist, Pharmacy or DIY place has any and nor do the 2 PC shops in my local area crying crying crying

Just bought some from Amazon and will have to wait for that to turn up... Does anyone have a brickwall I can repeatedly smash my head against angry

Have you got a Maplins local? They stock it.

Re: Global top 5000

I'm currently 13,000 points from top 5000. Looking good for the daily update. And jonnieb-uk's prediction was spot on for the say it would happen, assuming it does.

Re: Global top 5000

Thought I'd test drive the green globe, say hello and welcome SnaxMuppet and Labinopper to the team - they're both going great guns.

An awesome 60 years for themooncrescent, and the guv'nor leading the way in style as always. Also looking forward to seeing what Thargor's Beast is capable of once it's deployed.

Thanks as always to jonnieb-uk for his hard work - I may not post much, but always check in to see how we're getting on.

While I'm on, themooncrescent - a couple of drops of 'Proper Job' on a bit of kitchen roll will sort out your CPU/Heatsink issues.
