Good afternoon everyone.
Good morning team. I'm eagerly anticipating Monza this morning - as usual I will be slinging it from my UK TV even though it is live here (but with an incomprehensible Spanish commentator) Go Lewis! Possibly you have forgotten how incomprehensible our Channel 4 commentator (David Coulthard) can be. ![]() |

Good Morning Team. I hope you all had a good relaxing weekend. It was cold (yes really!) here with strong winds. The forecast is better today and temperatures may reach 20. This always happens when the wind is in the South (from the Antarctic and Argentina). Santa Cruz sits just East of the Andes foothills and I think that the mountains channel the wind. Probably a small price to pay for the warm climate.

Hi everyone,
----------------------------------------A bit of a cheeky request (but if you don't ask, you don't get). My daughter Lizzie is going to South Africa at the end of the month, to spend 5 weeks teaching struggling kids Maths and English, and maybe a bit of sport. The aim is to raise £500 of the considerable cost through charitable donations, which goes direct to the UK-based charity. She still has to find several hundred pounds more herself, and pay for the flight, jabs, insurance etc. The trip is being organised through Camp South Africa (http://campsouthafrica.com/) in conjunction with United Through Sport (http://www.unitedthroughsport.org/). If any WCG forum members would like to donate, the link is below, and she (and I) will be very grateful. Thank you. https://www.gofundme.com/2nb9f6ng

Good Morning Everyone.
----------------------------------------I had a 'watching paint dry' evening yesterday at a meeting of the collected land and property owners of the condominium where I live. It was quite an insight into the Latin American temperament and the discussions were lively, particularly regarding people who have defaulted on payments both for maintenance and roads that have been concreted this year. All in all I sat on a hard wooden chair for over two and a half hours. Can't say it improved my Spanish much either!
