Ah - I'm slightly misaligned with you Dave as I never have and never will vote Labour after the way that I feel they messed up the economy starting with Harold Wilson (from whom I received my degree - he was Chancellor of Bradford University). However that does not mean that I am against social justice and sustainability. A good employer looks after his main asset which is his staff (unfortunately employers like that are few and far between, particularly the multinationals). No one pays an employee more than the employee makes for the company - that's just good business sense. What is more important is that the employer gives the employees an equitable share of the profits and engenders an environment where the employee feels at home and empowered to achieve. There was a guy called Robert Townsend who wrote a book called (I think) 'Up the Organisation'. He was quite famous for turinng the fortunes of Hertz Rent a car around and making it the second largest Car Rental company in the world. It propounded much wisdom about HR and Bean Counters (get rid of them!) and emphasised the importance of making staff feel a part of the business. Altogether a good read.

Perhaps I should have said "New Labour" Rod. I'm definitely not a Corbynista, but I do support the nationalisation of certain key things, such as power generation and distribution (in fact, all the utilities including mobile phones), and public transport.
----------------------------------------In fact, I think we should nationalise WCG crunching, and give everyone huge government subsidies for buying powerful crunching rigs ![]()

Gets my vote too - need to include subsidies and VAT free status for WCG machines - Oh I forgot - I don't pay VAT on them anyway (well I claim a proportion back)

I reckon Ghenghis Khan would have made a great PM. His environmental policies were very left wing (being a big fan of the horse), and we'd have had no trouble when it came to trade negotiations ![]()

Prosser (a council worker tasked with demolishing Arthur Dent's Home) was a direct blood descendent of Genghis. A later DNA study some university (forget which) found that about 10% of the population of Europe have Mongolian blood. Silly I know but it was a published paper. ![]() Made a big, big mistake on Thursday by adding FAAH Phase 2 to my projects, hence a large fall in points earned, runtime and results. Have now removed this science (should still get silver badge). ![]() |

Made a big, big mistake on Thursday by adding FAAH Phase 2 to my projects, hence a large fall in points earned, runtime and results. Have now removed this science (should still get silver badge). ![]() My stats page has consistently showed FAAH2 as being the least generous project in terms of points/hour. If I recall, the work units are longer too, which I think usually causes a drop in perceived performance for a several days, I guess because it takes longer for them to filter through PV.

Good Morning Team.
----------------------------------------Dave and domonijo there is no PV for FAAH2 so that as soon as a WU finishes the points are granted. There is a short term apparent reduction in performance and then it all comes back. FAAH2 is a bit of a thug though and sometimes hogs your output for a day or so while the short return time WUs process. It is about 133 points / h compared with OET at 179 (at least on my machines anyway). Still I managed to get my Diamond 5 so now I am concentrating on ZIKA and HSTB to get them (eventually) to Diamond status too (yes I am a badge freak!)
