Android BOINC running 0-10% CPU?

Hi all, I'm running BOINC for Android and am seeing a few odd things. I know this is very new, but thanks in advance for the help!

1) Is there a way to see in-app how much CPU BOINC is using? When I switch to the native task manager it only shows BOINC as using anywhere from 0-10% CPU. I've only finished 2 workunits (unreported at time of writing) which took 4:28:07 and 3:38:04 to finish. From what little I've seen so far that's within the realm of normal?

2) The app is only detecting 1 CPU on my dual-core. Specs/logs are below. Seems like it couldn't find my preferences file for a while and then decided to use my "home" preferences (which says to use more than 1 CPU if available).

Specs:
Phone: ATT Galaxy S2 Skyrocket
Android: 4.1.2 stock
BOINC: 7.2.7
CPU: 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Scorpion
Ram: 1GB total, 788MB usable

App Options:
CPU Limit: 100%
RAM Limit: 50:

Logs (a tad repetative but it does change a bit):

Re: Android BOINC running 0-10% CPU?

Hi Randomballoon,
Your results sound good, the times are as expected for 1 CPU core running around 100%, which avoids the heat problems caused by multiple threads. I am surprised that wcgrid_fahv..etc. is running at less than 10%. You might have looked at boinc.exe by accident. Naturally, it does almost nothing except start and stop wcgrid_etc.

Lawrence
