Anyone had FAHV restarts after charger removal suspend and resume

I was real pleased to give my HP Touchpad, running CM9, some work to do. It was going great on 2 cores with around 7‰ FAHV completed when I decided it was bedtime. I unplugged from one charger and took it to bed, still showing the 7% and it appeared to pick up the tasks again when I plugged in the other charger. After possibly a minute, first one task flipped back to 1.1% shortly followed by the other core flipping back to 1.4‰.

Is this a "feature", please? Are there known "safe" percentages at which to suspend and restart.? Failing this, I guess it's safer, in a quick move, to allow computing on battery?

Any like observations and tips will be much appreciated

Thanks - Phil

Re: Anyone had FAHV restarts after charger removal suspend and resume

Hello philperkins,
biggrin You are supposed to ignore this for your peace of mind. However, if you select a work unit on BOINC Manager and then click on Properties, a popup window will list a lot of information. One line will show "CPU time at last checkpoint" and the next line will show "CPU time". If you unplug, then the next time you plug in the task will start at the checkpoint and you will lose several minutes.

Please do not agonize over these lost minutes. Instead, worry about all those minutes being experienced by tablets that do not have BOINC downloaded,

devilish
