i just installed fedora 19 and downloaded boinc. i moved the file to the documents then clicked on the propreties and checked the box to allow execting file as a program, but it just hangs up.

----------------------------------------You dont mention where you downloaded Boinc from? Are you using your distributions package manager? I recommend that you follow these instructionss to install Boinc on Fedora https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Installing_BOINC_on_Fedora . When you set up your account, be sure to use the recommended procedure outlined in the Set up your accounts section. Good luck and have fun!    |
