Hi,
----------------------------------------I'm noticing that throughout this day, WCG's website has been rather sluggish. Sometimes it times out. Looks like 40+ members have looked at this post without any enthusiastic support. It has seemed normal to me also. I guess you have just had bad luck with your connection.

Thanks for the replies. The connection seemed fine. I could play games online and browse the web without any issues, other than the slow WCG website.

I remember when the Baen's Bar website seemed as slow as molasses. The forum master did a ping trace and showed that AT&T was bouncing through 43 routers to reach his hill in Tennessee. Sometimes an ISP uses a very inefficient route through the internet. There is nothing that either end of the route can do about it. Fortunately the current algorithms used on the internet tend to cure such problems fairly quickly.
