We have some roundabouts in Colorado - not on the major intersections though. smile I like them. Traffic flows much smoother. I get a kick out of seeing someone approach one for the first time -- they almost always stop, even when no one is in the circle! The city finally put in a sign instructing people how to get through them depending if you are in the inside or outside lane.

I've always used the term "manual" vs. "stick." I guess it depends on what part of the country you are from.

The military uses the 24 hour clock. Weapons and satellite systems pretty much run on GMT, what the military calls "zulu" time.
