Running BOINC Manager 7.0.64 on Win 7, I do not see a "messages" tab. Running 6.10.58 (Win 7) on another machine that does show messages. Do I need to load version 6 on my new machine?

Messages have been relocated in the new version. If you go up to the menu bar and click "Advanced" then click on "Event Log", Messages should open up in a separate window.

I am also running 7.0.64 on Win 7 64 and the Message Tab is there

You 'could' be running the core client of 7.0.64, but you most definitely are running a manager that's v6 or earlier, else there would not be a message tab ;>)
----------------------------------------edit: And for good order, those that can't get over it and -must- have their message tab, they still can use the earlier BM versions, but they wont have the Notices tab of course.
