While I'm sorting the issues with my solar power system, I the next time I WILL ramp up ALL my machines to full power will be when HFCC comes back online.
----------------------------------------SO if you guys tell me which team to join for the week, I'll crunch for a week on that team doing HFCC then the remainder of the required time to get my Sapphaire for that one too on my team. If the Solar power issues are resolved sooner, I'll be back to full speed then and will fulfil my commitment to 'Donate a week' to another team! So post your votes, the team with the most will get the week! All the best... Steve

Hey Mamajuanauk,
If you were here in my area, I would gladly volunteer a couple of days of my time to come help erect your Solar Array. Not only would I get to meet other WCG'ers, but would get to experience your systems but also a Solar Array install. Maybe instead of you donating to us, WCG'ers in your area, or Teams in you area might come over and give you a hand? I think it would be fun, I just can't swim that well. Just a thought. So as I said I would honour the commitment made above, here it is. You juys tell me which team, I'll join and instead of a week at full throttle, I'll do a month at as much as I can for that team! Congratulations on your accomplishments. I applaud your enthusiasm. Naturally, I'd love to have you on my team but, to be honest, I say that to everyone.  While I'd welcome your week's effort, I would rather see you stay longe than that, much longer.  If you want to "donate" your crunching to a team, there are plenty of deserving ones. What really mattters though is you're crunching for the team that really matters - Team WCG.BTW - Happy birthday too! What I said back at the start of the thread still stands. You'd be quite welcome at MOT, and we'd love the chance to convince you to stay, but it's your decision. The main thing is to keep crunching. |

As no one has been forthcoming with suggestions, I've joined - Team Believe One World - for the month of September. All crunching on WCG will be against this team to fullfil my commitment to donate CPU time to another team to give them a boost!
----------------------------------------I did take into account the suggestions when I posted this offer, however, I thought the CPU time wouold give a bigger boost to a smaller team.

Well, if you decide to do this again, HardOCP would be more then thrilled to have your boost. Most of our team spend their time and resources dominating everyone over at FAH. So, only a small number of us focus on BOINC. When we do, WCG tends to be a favored CPU project. Why should you support our team? Drop in at our forums some time and you will see that our team is more then willing to help anyone who poses questions on any of the DC'ing projects and how to maximize their production. You will find a lot of knowledgeable individuals that can bring a lot of detailed stats on various equipment. www.hardforum.com
