Re: BOINC Agent cause another crash (BSOD) in Windows 8

So happens a few days ago did an install of a WCG test client and had a BSND, not a BSOD. Pure Blue, no text at all as what a BSOD screen would display, and it appeared not dead. Hitting Ctrl-Shft-Esc brought up the Task Manager. From there could launch Firefox [to write a report on this] and start another user session, which revived the GUI, but hotswapping back to the session in which I was installing, that remained blue. Could have killed the explorer process in the TM like doing under W7/Vista, which usually restarts the GUI, but did not think of that at the time. Should have done to see if the tiled 'modern' interface would have come back. Since the purpose of going into W8 was purely to test the installation, not gone back after completing multiple install tests and a little crunch. Waiting for 8.1 as noted before.
