The round-robin between the working and failing server IP [.157 v .147], does seem to help coping mostly with the extras from the Pentathlon as the morning validations were near 21K results. If things hold up that could become 41-42K results for 37 years runtime. Of course, that does not preclude there's Armin van Buuren knobbing going on (No one heard the music dubs except he himself).

The .157 address is more reliable than the .147 address. We have removed the .147 address from the round-robin DNS entries. The timeout on the DNS entry is 2 hours so from now to 4-6 hours from now the setting should be largely changed throughout the internet. This should reduce issues with client uploads.

Hi:
Rather than speaking out only when errors are happening, I would like to congratulate the I.T. team for resolving EOF uploads issues that have been happening lately. My two laptops are just singing away. And so am I. Please do not adjust the picture. Clive |

I still can not upload in any of my PCs. I would appreciatte a recap of ways of achieving it. thanks One possible reason to your problem is, if you're using too old BOINC-client the DNS is never checked again, meaning if client has got the bad ip it will continue using the bad ip until client is re-started. So, try re-starting the client. If this doesn't work, re-boot computer and also re-boot any routers, modems and so on you're using to connect to the internet. ![]() "I make so many mistakes. Switching on/off router and restarting the manager made it in two systems. Thanks.
----------------------------------------I'm afraid that in the third one I will abort the units since I have on going several RNA XXL units, one of them with over 700 hours processing time (this project has no checkpoints) and will lost it if I restart the manager. ![]() |
