Reading the GIT2 checkin's the WCG pack is still being tweaked... the version number could become higher... 7.0.66 or up.

I also installed, without a glitch, BOINC 7.0.64 and it's computing fine.
----------------------------------------The one thing that doesn't seem to work is the proxy option. Well at least for up and downloading tasks. The log shows 'Internet OK' but nothing send or received. It's trying though but timing out and retrying over and over again. Bypassing the proxy using my cellphone as internet connection, all goes fine. Tasks are up and downloaded, no problems. I thought, lets go back to BOINC 6.10.58. So I did. Now I'm in more trouble than before. 6.10.58 will not connect to the 'localhost'. The BOINC Manager is not able to connect to a BOINC client. What am I doing wrong here? Did I miss something? Regards, Frits Schouten.

I ran Microsoft FixIt to cleanly uninstall BOINC 7.0.64 and reinstalled BOINC 6.10.58
----------------------------------------That worked and I'm now running 6.10.58 again. All good now, including the proxy option.

Please stick to 1 thread to discuss your proxy issues [see nothing in the log you posted, missing the part where the last result upload log shows success or failure]. There's no premature connect closing observed with what we have. Devs, particularly knreed will be most interested in proxy diagnosis / problem reports as that has historically been one of the thorns in the side [many partners are behind proxies].
----------------------------------------Et alia: Seems that downgraders are being heard since knreed checking in a fix [which is not in the Berkeley 7.0.64 Windows release]. The WCG pack is going to be a new version. Kevin Reed [Tue, 30 Apr 2013 15:19:41 +0000 (10:19 -0500)] Set files to 'always overwrite' so that in the future, version downgrades will not encounter issues with some files not installling properly. Conflicts: win_build/installerv2/WCG.ism edit: This could mean that you'll possibly loose your custom cc_config.xml, so be sure to keep a backup. Sorry Rob, about my multi thread posting.
----------------------------------------I originally posted in the GPU thread about the invalid returns of HCC (ati_hcc1) tasks using 6.10.58 and was asked to upgrade to 7.0.64 which didn't solved my problem which I then posted here. I really thought long about this and due to the long log file I decided to make a new thread. Next time I'll try to be more considered... Anyway, after the new WCG 7.xx release, shall I again upload a log file and in this thread or the one I created which already has the one log file? Many regards, Frits Schouten.

'd Like to see what came after the point where the task finished and the new one started, to see what fails and how. Post it in the other thread you created.

Did you enable for BOINC to allow all GPUs [Default is to only activate the most powerful in a system].
Only first steps in the enabling of Intel On-CPU GPU have been taken. The critical OpenCL Q&A is addressed here: http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/inte...requently-asked-questions |
