whats to do with "unexpected error" alert?

I have installed the grid software. when i start the software there always an message that an error has happend.
i dont know what this alert is meaning, because there are no description number or some like this.
my question is, what to do now?

I had a problem accessing the server for around 10 minutes - that was about 45 minutes ago. It is ok now.

Maybe you hit the same problem. Have you tried restarting the agent?

Was this a temporary error as RobSab suggested or is there something continuing that needs attention?

the error is continuing.
i checked the windows event protocol, but ther wasn't an entry.
i dont know, where i could beginn to search.

Could your firewall be blocking server access?
Can you say what the error said?....Or a screenshot of it?

Is this your first dc project ??? If not then you may have some old folders that are causing a conflict... cool

Gird Agent

the message text is:
Unexpected error

nothing else

to restart my computer was my first idea.

does wcg need any specific processes or devices?

You computer has to have a certain amount of memory and cpu speed...Are you running it on an older computer ??? Post your computer specs if you can....Don't worry my friend, their are enough people crunching here that are more then willing to help you through this problem.... cool
