Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this topic (I wasn't sure about where to put it). But does anyone have kind of a design for a flyer that advertises WCG? I'm the new leader of the Team "Grüne Jugend" and would like to pass around some ad material on our next Congress to motivate some more people to join. But since I'm not very experienced (not at all) in graphical designing stuff I thought I'd ask if there's already something like that before I'd try it by myself :D

Not exactly what I'm searching for. If I'd designed a flyer would it be allowed for me to use WCG Pictures, like the WCG Symbol (do they have a CC-License)?

There is somewhere an excellent flier of WCG both in animation and print... 3-4 pages pdf that appeared on the IBM site if I remember well. It showed how it worked and what it worked on. You'd have to search the news section and or forums to find it... not bookmarked it, bout 3-4 years ago, but I'm sure some direct links were posted, self or maybe by Didactylos.

It's a good one [Smarterplanet series], but no the mentioned animation was almost literally presented in the PDF as a series of stills with the narration printed around it. Rather dark-ish style. Maybe it's on one of those Youtube videos with that standard guitar rif at start of the many WCG has compiled.

I'll be darned... googled myself with just Sekerob and animation in search term and this sprung up http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/bg/marketin...20Works%20Feb,%202007.pdf , which low behold is on the very marketing page... not 3 or 4 but almost 6 years ago, from 2007.
Now to retrace the animation. |
