tried running it with the standard windows driver after de-installing the ATI driver, came back with the same error. What I do not understand is why it runs for a month without problems, and then a bone gets stuck in it throat..
anything else I can try or is a new graphic card the final solution ?  |

Hi Luapi57,
----------------------------------------Like SekeRob said, you may need to clear out old drivers entries. Download and install Driver Fusion . Then uninstall the driver using the normal procedure, restart and go into safe mode. While there, open driver fusion, select AMD(or ATI not sure which), run it and have it remove all entries. Then restart, go to windows and install the drivers using a custom install and select all of the options. ok, done it, got another T-Shirt... this is what I get now when BOINC starts

driver fusion left about a dozen or more entries in the registry which only the pay/premium version would remove ( for a price ) so I used the device manager and de-installed the ATI driver, ran SlimDrivers across it and found no more traces of it. installed everything with a custom install, and loh and behold the first HCC1 is 50% done,
