I appreciated the opportunity to do the survey. It seemed very complete without taking an inordinately long time to fill out. Needless to say, after submitting it, I thought of a couple of other comments that I would have liked to contribute.

Good survey. Way overdue. Easy to complete. Liked that they asked for additional comments.

Good survey as far as it went. Hopefully it will be repeated in future - annually (?)
----------------------------------------Has there been a commitment by WCG to publish the results? I've looked but haven't found one neither in the origianl forum announcement nor in the covering email. |

For WCG admin the only way to show the community that the contribution to the survey is not in vain, is to publish some analysis about in a not too distant future. I strongly hope that we will get some form of feedback, not only on the participation stats but also about what are the major issues or wishes etc. that the community has expressed.
----------------------------------------At this point I do not ask for any committment about how WCG will answer the community expectations, this may take some time, but at least to know what may be expected. ![]() |

I started to answer the survey, but stopped on the first question. There was not an answer for using software obtained from both WCG and Berkeley. I could of picked an answer for the majority obtained, but that wouldn't be an honest answer.
And there's no "Not Listed" answer. ![]() |

it was nice survey, and would be awesome if WCG publish results (or at least the CSV-like data for processing)

I had the problem that I could not get a cursor in text box that would follow the OTHER choice. Fortunately, once I clicked NEXT, the next page would tell me that I needed to put something in the box and then it was working. hmmm.
----------------------------------------This a the problem with the survey site and not WCG's doing. Cheers ![]() ![]() |

For WCG admin the only way to show the community that the contribution to the survey is not in vain, is to publish some analysis about in a not too distant future. I strongly hope that we will get some form of feedback, not only on the participation stats but also about what are the major issues or wishes etc. that the community has expressed. The ONLY way to convince the community that WCG is responding to the results of the survey is for WCG to MAKE CHANGES and note that the change was in response to the survey. I don't see the value in publishing any issue requested by the community where WCG has no intention on acting it. You are mistaken if you think that every issue supported by the community will be implemented by WCG. Dream on. |
