Hypernova, just a note... please remove the ending number from the link, from = onwards, or anyone using it will overwrite your survey input, which also answers Scribe's query... how it's known ;D Sek, I consider this as a major bug. This should not be able to happen. Once a numbered link has been activated the survey done and closed, that number should become inacessible for anyone whatever the machine. Imagine many people using that link (I agree it is my error to have put it online, but I wanted to help) and everybody overriding the survey. You may have in theory hundreds of people using the link and in the end you would get one opinion the one of the last user. The whole survey can in theory get screwed up this way. The issue here is with Survey Monkey that has not to my opinion well designed their software tool. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Hypernova at Feb 27, 2013 11:08:45 AM] |

Someone might want to review after the thank you, add/revise the survey me thinketh, so if it's a bug or not I wont opine on. For sure, WCG opted to not circulate further for the time being beyond those who would respond through the emailed link and look at the feedback for any follow up.

Anyhow. Took the link away, and just to be sure did the survey again from another computer. At least I have the option to review it let's say twenty times

Looking at Hyper's number, just over half a million, and my number which is just over 3000.....it would appear to be related to your registration date, so I was in right at the beginning, just over the 3000th......wonder how many of us there are left? This means that in 4 years from 2004 to 2008 the number of registrations has gone from 3000 to over 500'000 thousand. Thats excellent. But I am afraid that number did not grow the same way between 2008 and 2012, as we have today 612'000 members. This survey has also the objective to look for way to increase attractiveness and give a new boost in terms of appeal to new members. ![]() |

I liked the survey but had to fill it in a bit of a hurry.
----------------------------------------I gave suggestions for some projects I would like to see here, I gave the suggestion of the tutorial I wrote about here and I gave a suggestion about creating a badge based on the number of recruited active members. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz [Edit 1 times, last edit by Falconet at Feb 27, 2013 1:25:39 PM] |

I participated in the survey and completed it. How would I rate the survey? I'll just echo some of Hypernova's [Feb 27, 2013 7:41:56 AM] depictions of the survey:
-- Well done and very complete -- Chance to comment/opine (about various aspects of WCG) -- First official survey. (8yrs since WCG inception?) I too encourage everyone to complete the survey to give the WCG leadership a clear idea of the pulse of the community. That pulse would constitute a good waypoint on how the WCG ship would be guided going forward. ; ; andzgridPost#970 ; |

The difference is likely those who created one or more extra accounts or just registered and never started [I've got half a dozen test accounts for which also mails trickled in]. The 612,000 is the number to have returned at least 1 result.
