Have 3 Hd. installed UD on the E drive and installed WCG on the D drive installed both wcg and udmon in same folder in d but, when I set up udmon cache slots it said that another instance was already operatingand would not allow me to add slots to the new udmon

yes.....it "sees" the existing slots......that's why I completely deleted ud and original ud mon cache......was a week's worth of old work that wasn't worth sending.
Clean install really would be best.......and the way things are....if you were to run ud...a clean install of that would be best too. UD mon at the moment is full of "stopgap" units anyway. |

Need to disable the other UDmon if possible. Would rather not uninstall if possible.

Will they not time out anyway?
How about burning cache to disc or a usb drive? |

Will probably just delete udmon and ud and reinstall later.

Well that would be easiest and then hopefully you can fill up with new cancer units
