Re: warning system clock

Hi,

Either you or your internet time synchronization software did this, with an adjustment that was greater than 30 seconds. A prior discussion, one of many, took place at the dev.forums: http://home.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=65060

If you post the message log [5 before to 5 after the exited with zero status] with the time stamps, not just the message, we could be actually seeing the time adjustment.

Re: warning system clock

There's nothing to worry about, since your tasks validate **. If you want us to tell you what to do, [also reading this Team forum thread, you know http://www.boincitaly.org/forum/boinc-helpdesk/89229-messaggio-log-eventi.html of some other causes and fixes], then post the info as what I asked in previous post. Also tell us how often this happens, with what frequency... during day, during night, same time or different times, how often?

** Of course, if you run for instance CEP2 with 3-4-6 hour checkpoint intervals, you could be loosing a lot of computing progress.

Re: warning system clock

yes that is a my post..

It is happened a couple of times in a day.
I synchronized the clock and for a day has not given problems. It may be the battery on the motherboard?

Re: warning system clock

This means, oh hi Gabry, the client was blocked from talking to the science app and vice versa for longer than 30 seconds. This often leads to actual task crashing. Cause is often a very busy system, so much so that even your system clock reading could get out of sync.

Clock battery... a weak one can be a source of clock irregularity.
