700,000 CPU years this weekend?

Running at ~400 CPU years a day, we should pass 700,000 years this weekend.

Re: 700,000 CPU years

One chart that shows the 100,000 runtime year marks: http://bit.ly/WCGCRD . The spacing indicates how long it took for each step, ever faster. smile

The one surely getting the bigger attention is 750K... when... this year biggrin

Re: 700,000 CPU years

The time to go from 500k to 600k and the one to go from 600k to 700k is identical and equivalent to 18 ticks.
I enlarged the graphic and counted. I would say we are stable.

Like I always say, this is an "ant" job. Millions of ants do a huge job.

Re: 700,000 CPU years

A different "ever faster" presentation from November last year at the 8th anniversary of WCG... just 2 months ago, https://twitter.com/i/#!/WCGrid/media/slideshow?url=pic.twitter.com%2FpM5Hqu4O biggrin

(but the flakes on the cake do indicate a poor paper production year it was... just 3 off the WCG sciences)
