Can anyone tell me about the 'Say No to Schistosoma project on hold' in the known issues thread?
----------------------------------------only resend work units will be sent out. I hope that does not mean work units that have been already crunched. ![]() |

"resend work" is of course *only* concerning repairs for error/invalid/aborted tasks and substitutes for No Reply. WCG does not engage in useless regurgitation, no project does but those that have zero ethics and know of only one for fact [UD], and a second from long long long ago where I would never crunch anyhow.

Sorry to see that the SN2S research server is under the weather and they put things on hold. By chance since its been a few days now if anyone has an estimate when this server will be back humming again?
I've been only running SN2S the past couple weeks trying to get to my Ruby badge, and it looks like this stops that effort for now, but I'm just wondering how long this server fixing will take before I can crunch SN2S regularly again.... By the way I'm still seeing a few SN2S level 0 WUs coming through so it doesn't look like everything has come completely to a stop (at least not quite yet). |

"Anyone" is nobody knows but the scientists or what the scientists tell WCG techs or post on the forums.
----------------------------------------What is still going out is of course the stock on hand at point of server out, which was not qualified. Since seippel lowered the feeder priority, so the exclusive SN2S crunchers get a bit more time, there's originals still going out, till that dries up and then the "resends" of the MIAs will continue to cycle for at least 10-14 days, but that wont be much. Always recommend in such situations to choose a second WCG science that has available work or "If there is not work for [SNS2], then send me something else". By chance since its been a few days now if anyone has an estimate when this server will be back humming again? The SN2S research server is now back online. We will resume the project at normal speed once we've finishing sending the backlog of results that accumulated during the outage. This will likely take around three more days. Seippel |

Good to hear that the server is back in action and things will be back to normal in a few days. I'll just continue crunching my backlog of SN2S I built up today just in case things were going to run out (and to be ready for the bigger outtage in the next 24-48 hours with WCG.
