Seriously guys, do the general public need to be able to buy assault rifles or 50 calibre weapons in order to be "free"? You could easily at least tone it down a bit, whilst still - for instance - being able to by lower calibre pistols.
However, the guns are only a small part of the problem as far as the the US goes - it's mainly the people that are the problem. Plenty of places where the populace have access to guns, yet don't go around regularly murdering school children. For instance, most young men in Switzerland have a high-powered assault rifle in their homes because of military service, and yet when was the last time you heard about a school shooting in Switzerland? |

It is way overtime for WE THE PEPOL to take back our country and regain all our lost freedom's and stop further lost. allow the individual states to vote on and pass there own laws. the citizens of a given state or city can always leave and go somewhere else then. So big government butt out....... largest gun control city Chicago--80 murders with gun's in January aloan. A city ran by crummies associated with a clown (in washington d.c.)that can not or will not inforce there own laws already on the books.....speakup pepol and throw these idiots out of office and quit paying them with your tax dollars-unless your rich and just don't care. . , .
