100% Upload: pending

This is a rare bug, only the second time this has happened to me. I have a completed task that has uploaded completely and is stuck. The task is "Uploading", and on the uploads tab it is at 100% uploaded but "pending". Suspending/Resuming does nothing, as does retrying the upload, or restarting BOINC. The only thing left to do is abort the task/upload :(

Re: 100% Upload: pending

Hello cw64,
What OS, project, BOINC version? It sounds as though you tried everything, but did you reboot or reset your router?

Win7 x64, HCC (ati), 7.0.28 (x64). I have rebooted, haven't tried reseting router yet, don't hold much hope for it.

Re: 100% Upload: pending

This has happened to me during a period of trouble on the server. I decided that it was trouble on the server rather than on my computer that time.

Re: 100% Upload: pending

Can someone manually check to see if the WU has infact been successfully uploaded? And if so manually enter it into validation?

Re: 100% Upload: pending

Hello cw64,
Your Results Status page should tell you the status of this work unit.

Re: 100% Upload: pending

The task is stuck on Uploading, so it will not be reported. As far as I can tell it has been uploaded, so the completed workunit should also be stuck wherever these uploads initially go to.

Re: 100% Upload: pending

Hello cw64,
I don't think there is anyway to recover from this problem. If it happens again, you could try upgrading to BOINC 7.0.31 or higher. There are a few bugs in the GPU code of BOINC that are being eliminated in the more recent Beta versions. But I do not recommend Beta testing unless your system misbehaves badly.
