Greetings.
Today i installed boinc on my new pc and noticed strange behavior. When i exit boinc program, tasks which i am computing not stopping and still running on background (i can see processes in task manager and they consuming cpu resourses). Is there any way to fix it? Situation looks really annoying... |

With v7, on exit there's an option to end them.

V6 has this as well. When you exit BOINC Manager, make sure you check the box to stop the tasks as well. BOINC Manager will remember that when you exit it in the future.

I'm having a similar problem. I can't get my system back .... ie the graphics of the science task stays on the screen. I can't get back to my local tasks. I'm using the latest BOINC 6.28.? Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank. Unless you really enjoy the screen saver you could just disable it. Cheers

Thought of that but was hoping there was some way to keep the graphics. What's the problem with swapping out the graphics when the task gets suspended. If that can't be done then maybe the graphics should be removed.
