There are, like I have one with an ATI [HP and not cheap], except darn if I know how to force the drivers to upgrade to the needed level for OpenCL. I'm considering to ditch the OEM W7 install with firmware and put W8-64-Pro clean on. The BIOS I've already got the latest level to be able and get max out of the ATI/Catalyst drivers [if I can get them on]. Done a little GPU crunching though outside of WCG... definitely had set it to only do when system idle for longer.
Else, rather than asking [a sign of the times], search and look on the forums. Think to have seen mentions of GPU crunching on laptops/notebooks. |
