 Good Thursday Morning Team Congratulations Vuj! Seems like a lot of these young ones are in the dark anyhow. Amazes me how they have very little or no motivation. Not saying all kids, but seems like a large number of them. They wanted it given to them rather then work hard like there parents to get it........It's depressing!! You know, sometimes I think that same thing. The ones that go to college get educations that are not among the hard sciences. They seem to be a lazy lot. My own kids are the same and now that they are older, they regret not getting "hard" degrees. I hate it for them as well. Of course it could be just my perspective. I read somewhere: "The older I get, the better I was" and, come to think of it I was really good. (I was the cat's meow) I question my own perspective sometimes. Still when most of our Drs. As you stand back and look at them and try to guess the more likely of them, you - if you are like me - find most of the probable outcomes unsettling. Unsettling in that I see little in the current state of affairs in the United States that would cause any one of the scenarios other than those that suggest an increasingly difficult time for the U.S. population as a whole, to maintain the standard of living we enjoy currently; with financial crisis and resource shortages a near certainty. Reports like this may not serve any great purpose apart from making us think, and that, in the end, is perhaps one thing that will actually help. |
