Today, World Community Grid turned 8 years old.

In the past 8 years, World Community Grid has donated over 600,000 CPU years worth of computations to different projects that benefit humanity. The FightAIDS@Home project has received over 165,019 CPU years worth of docking calculations from World Community Grid to help us advance the discovery of new inhibitors of multi-drug-resistant mutant superbugs of HIV protease and HIV integrase.

You will soon hear about a webinar that I'll be presenting on the progress that we've made in the past year. You'll receive an e-mail from World Community Grid that contains the details about this webinar and how you can attend it. Within the next few weeks, I'll also post a new volume of the FightAIDS@Home Newsletter that describes our exciting progress.
