CPU Time versus Elapsed Time

with the advent of the new display would this show if there is a "CPU Hogger" at work if they were vastly different?
Also if Prefs were set not to compute if in use, would this also show up in this column showing that no CPU was being used during the user activity, but elapsed still growing? biggrin

Re: CPU Time versus Elapsed Time

My experance is that E-time only increments if the CPU is allowed, ie suspended does not increase e-time. If CPU is low and e-time is high, it shows that something BESIDES WGG is using the CPU, only allowing wcg a small piece, so I guess yes a CPU Hogger. ;)
