In i'm running world community grid since age and i have the related badge on my website showing my score but since 2 month the score has not changed and his stuck on 7776,
i have uninstalled the product, reinstalled wait another week, nothing as changed the program run well, i admit i dont understood so i decided to post on the forum, can you have a look please ? thank you very much, Folamour, |

Hello folamour,
Select My Grid - Results Status. This should show you what work you have computed recently. Then please select the Advanced View of BOINC Manager and post the first page of the Messages tab after a reboot. This will tell us what sort of system you are running BOINC on. Lawrence |

Check the following:
Is your BOINC client returning results? Does your BOINC Manager show any errors in the log (in advanced view, select the "Advanced" menu and then "Event Log...")? Does your BOINC Manager report that it is unable to access the internet? Are there any tasks that appear stuck or not making any progress? |

Hi thanks you so much to help me on that case,
----------------------------------------i saw 2 error of calculation on rosetta on all the evenlog 2 day ago told me that i will not have the credit but all the rest of the 4 day is clean, btw it seem that the amount of calculation is reflected in my grid 7776, (bellow) but i saw in the section transfert that i have no item so i checked i the transfert section and all the thing related to network authorisation was set to 0 (i think is defaut) so i authorised it to a 100mo by day upload/download we will saw, here is my result, [URL=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/687/wcgridresult.jpg/][IMG]http://imageshack.us/a/img687/4895/wcgridresult.jpg[/IMG][/URL] And as you can saw it is reflected on my web badge [URL=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/13/wcgbadge.jpg/][IMG]http://imageshack.us/a/img13/2919/wcgbadge.jpg[/IMG][/URL] and that dont move since 2 month.... but the calculcation is going on.... ----------------------------------------Il y a deux choses que tu dois faire: 1. sur le site tu dois aller au My Grid/Results status et voir si tu as des rsultats retournes pendant les derniers jours. 2. dans l'application sur ton ordinateur, tu dois le mettre en "Advanced view" et puis selecter Advanced/Event log et copier le debut de messages ici. Si j'ai bien compris ce que tu as dis, tu vois des WUs dans ton Boinc manager mais il y as pas des resultats sur le WCG site. Est-ce qu'il est possible que ton ordinateur est maintenat enregistre sous un autre utilisateur (si tu as plusieurs utilisateurs)? J'espere que mon francais a ete intelligible... A +! En ce cas, je pense que je sais ce qui se passe ici: le projet qui retourne des resultats est rosetta@home et ca ne fait part de WCG. Mais ce que je trouve bizarre est ce ligne-la: 01/10/2012 10:48:53 World Community Grid Aborting task SN2S_AAB88508_0000135_0974_0; not started and deadline has passed Ca veut dire que tu recois des WUs de projets qui font part de WCG (comme SNS2), mais ils ne commencent pas en temps donc le manager les abandonne...D'habitude, Boinc manager sait prioritiser les taches de maniere qu'elles sont retournees quand il faut. Peut-etre, peux-tu copier les messages des le debut du log pour en savoir de plus? Je suis pas un "guru" et alors j'essaye par "trial and error" ou par des "educated guesses", mais si tu donnes les information correctes, il y a plus des chances qu'un des experts trouvera la solution plus vite que moi. PS: moi aussi j'ai essaye a ecrire avec l'accent correct, mais il semble que le forum ne sait pas l'interpreter, donc, j'ai renonce les utiliser! Knowledge is limited. j'ai regardé ce matin, il n'as toujours pas envoyé de nouveau packet j'avoue que je ne comprends pas pourtant il calcule, ...... :((((((((((((((((
----------------------------------------j'ai arrété 2 tache qui était out of date, et j'ai mis le calcul sur all the time, et j'ai eu une alerte firewall comme quoi rosetta voulait communiquer donc je l'ai activé, ca a l'air de calculé on en saurat plus dans 5h j'ai bon espoir ; ) je vous tiens informé, bonjour en roumanie ; ) [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 2, 2012 5:09:44 AM] |

J'ai justement pense a une posibilite: peut-etre tu as utilise le "Suspend" option dans ton Boinc manager? Tu dois aller en Advanced view/Projects (tab), selecter le World Community Grid projet et s'il a le status "Suspended by user", tu dois faire click sur "Resume".
----------------------------------------Si ce n'est pas le cas, alors je pense qu'il est une bonne idee copier ici le debut du "Event log", Advanced/Event log, scroll up, selecter les premiers lignes jusqu'a ce que tu as des messages comme: 10/1/2012 8:55:17 AM | World Community Grid | Restarting task HFCC_target-10_00183796_target-10_0001_0 using hfcc version 640 in slot 0 ou10/1/2012 8:55:20 AM | World Community Grid | Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. ou quelque chose telle. bonjour candyman, comment vont les choses par chez toi ? je ne sais pas ce que j'ai fait au final qui a débloqué le process mais ce matin je suis passé a 7777 résultat calculé, je doit dire que justement c'est LE chiffre magique auquel je voulais arriver il a une petite connotation religieuse chez moi que j'apprécie,
en tout cas je vouslais TE remercier pour ton excellent français et ta bonté de coeur de m'avoir si gentiment aidé, le composant WCG est reparti pour quelques années de bon et loyaux calcul, je suis a nouveau dans la grille et cela remplis mon coeur de joie, je te remercie candyman pour le temps que tu m'a accordé, Fratternellement, Folamour, |
