Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates

I'm at wits end trying to resolve this. I have downloaded a new ca-bundle.crt and put it in the Program Data folder for BOINC. I imported the certificate. The problem is not happening with others using Kaspersky Internet Security version 2013. The firewall and applications listing have BOINC in the trusted category. I see lots of fixes for this using Linux but none for Windows 7 x64. No tasks or uploads/downloads of tasks allowed for over a week now. I installed boinc again trying to fix it which deleted my completed tasks. Anyone have any thoughts?

Re: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates

This may be the problem but I cannot find a new version of ca_bundle.crt
All the ones I find including from worldcommunitygrid.org are all old and expired in 2009.
Thanks,

Two clicks on the intertube: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/Error/Scheduler%20request%20failed . Did not know about the PEM bit... maybe it's that or a proxy issue.

Re: Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates

Hello Nevada Bob,
On my computer running Windows 7 64-bit, C:\Program Files\BOINC\ca-bundle.crt 8/18/2009 1:02 PM Security Certificate 237 KB works perfectly well. Has your problem reached the exasperation level that requires a reinstallation of BOINC?

Absolutely, Beyond Exasperation. I have uninstalled BOINC and re-installed it to no effect.

Have you tried to install a v7-client?
Personally I would recommend to try v7.0.31.
