Hi Everybody,
I just added some new "eye candy" that I created from the positive control experiments against four different classes of drug targets. I also updated the % completion statistics for the different GO FAM experiments. See: http://gofightagainstmalaria.scripps.edu/inde...r-potential-malaria-drugs Thus far, you have helped us produce almost 300 million different docking results for this GO Fight Against Malaria project! This corresponds to over 12,013 CPU years of time since mid-November. Thank you all very much for your interest and for your support!!! Cheers, Alex L. Perryman, Ph.D. |

Hi Everybody,
I just finished updating the % completion statistics for the "status" page. See: http://gofightagainstmalaria.scripps.edu/inde...r-potential-malaria-drugs We have now finished all of the docking calculations for Experiment 68 and for all previous experiments. We have almost finished Experiments 69 and 70, as well. I will soon start creating some new "eye candy" of the positive control experiments versus additional classes of drug targets (and finish describing the rest of the eye candy that is currently present on that page). Thank you very much for your interest and your support, Alex L. Perryman, Ph.D. |

In general, most scientific researchers closely guard the details of their current and future experiments. It's all kept secret, until the research has been completed and published. Revealing the finer details of future experiments is never done, because researchers don't want other scientists to "scoop them" and publish the research before they do. But we will ignore that rule--advancing the fight against multi-drug-resistant mutant superbugs of malaria is far too important; keeping everything secret would slow down our progress. WOW, how refreshing and thanks for the updates! |
