Perhaps you are running POEM tasks?

Yes I am but I've been running those since CFSW started and never has this problem before. confused
I7-2600k running 4 CFSW and 4 POEM tasks.

I think adding the flag <work_fetch_debug>1</work_fetch_debug> would be useful as well.

I think adding the flag <work_fetch_debug>1</work_fetch_debug> would be useful as well.

Will do Kevin. Can you explain why this issue just started after running the project since it began?

As you are evidently running 7.0.31, it would be very useful if a full diagnoses could help to resolve this at developer level [should it not be some server configuration issue], and get this fixed before another "recommend" is let lose on a version [which I understand has .32 already in the pipe somewhere]

I've been running 7.0.31 on this box since it came out and this issue just showed up this AM so I'm not sure the 2 are related but now there is a new twist. I forgot that I also selected to receive DDDT2 tasks on this profile because I almost never get any. I changed the profile to CFCW only and immediately received some more CFSW tasks. I also changed the profile on 2 other machines this morning to the CFSW/DDFDT2 profile and they both stopped getting any new CFSW tasks. Neither of those run 7.0.31. When I removed DDDT2 from the profile they also started receiving new tasks. Strange behavior it is. I'm going to add the flag that skgiven and Kevin suggested to the config file, switch the profile back to CFSW/DDDT2 and see what happens.

I'm now seeing occasional "no tasks sent" messages. I'm running CFSW and CEP2 (limited to 10 tasks), with DDDT2 and Beta also ticked; no other BOINC projects. This is BOINC 6.10.58 running as a service/daemon on an i5-750, Win7/64. Here's a typical part of the message log (times are GMT+1). Two points I note: 1) some "No tasks are available for ..." sections don't mention CFSW at all; 2) I haven't spotted the "Tasks for ... GPU are available" messages before (i.e. they weren't present in similar sections earlier today) - yes, I know I won't receive any GPU tasks when running as a daemon. The occasional "no tasks sent" responses aren't a problem for me, as within minutes the work fetch succeeds, but I'm sending this in case it's of interest to the techs. I can add the work_fetch_debug flag if that might help.
